Briquetting
Making a distinction in briquetting systems to establish two technological groups shall underline the importance of hot briquetting as well as the special know-how associated with this field of application.
Cold briquetting systems are equipped with components and modules that are occasionally cooled to increase the service life of bearings, for example. However, special steel grades are not used in these systems as a rule.
Hot briquetting systems are employed if material temperature calls for special cooling measures to be applied to components and the equipment must be made of temperature- or high-temperature resistant materials.
